Yuki Hayashi’ s “timeless”portrait
世界で活躍する映像作家、林勇気さんのポートレートを撮影させていただきました。
LEICA M type 240で撮影したものを、ヴァンダイク・ブラウンプリントという約180年前にイギリスで開発された写真技法で印刷しました。
This photo was taken by Leica M type 240 in 2022 and developed using a printing method called Van Dyke Brown Print, which was developed in England about 180 years ago.
個人的にライカで初めて人物のポートレートを撮らせていただいた写真というのもあり、記念に古典技法でプリントして紙でお渡ししたいと思って現像したものです
It was my first portrait I took with a Leica, and I wanted to print it out using traditional techniques and give it to him as a souvenir.
林さんが「いつの時代かわからない素敵な仕上がり」と喜んでくださいました。
